This video is about our visit to Medoc Mountain State Park NC. Medoc Mountain is a fairly small, well maintained state park with nice camping sites, clean restrooms, showers, visitor center and hiking trails. It is located close to the Virginia border about where the piedmont changes to the costal plain. The camping sites are mostly level with nice picnic tables and fire rings. There is one hiking trail geared specifically toward children. Be sure to visit and pet the corn snake, Charlie at the visitor’s center. Don’t use the address in Google Maps, the visitor center address is 1540 Medoc State Park Road and the campground is 586 Medoc State Park Road. We enjoyed our visit to this park.
