We visited Spruce Flats Falls in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Some websites have it listed as easy but we don’t think so. It is moderate because of the elevation change and the rugged terrain you must hike over. The trail starts at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont. After our introduction, the video starts at the parking lot at the Tremont Institute . The hike is about 2.5 miles round trip and is not easy. We suggest you take a snack but at lease take extra water especially if the weather is warm. The video will show some of the obstacles you must cross to get to the waterfall. However it is worth the hike. We show several views if the Spruce Flats Falls at the end.
