This video is a visit to Otter Falls Trail in Seven Devils North Carolina. Seven Devils is close to Banner Elk, which is 12 miles from Boone NC. So other than the hike to the falls, there are lots of other activities available for your enjoyment. There are many other hiking trails in this area, wonderful shopping in Blowing Rock, and many dining options in both Boone and Blowing Rock. The hike to the falls is a bit strenuous 1.2-mile hike. The falls at the bottom make it worth the effort. The trails to Otter Falls are in good shape and there is a nice viewing platform beside the falls. Depending on when you visit, there are wildflowers in the area as well. Leashed dogs are allowed on the trails. The parking area at the falls is very limited, so you might have to wait for a parking spot.
