Soco Falls is located on Highway 19 between Maggie Valley, NC and Cherokee, NC and just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Parking can be a problem so come early if visiting around peak vacation times. After parking, it is a short walk down to the observation deck. From here, there is a great view of the water fall. There is a trail down to the bottom of the falls. If you take this trail be very careful because it is very steep and rugged. If you enjoy waterfalls, this is a must visit trip.
