In this video we share our visit to Waterfalls Park in Newland North Carolina also called the Bobby McLean Memorial Park. We found this waterfall just driving by on Highway 194, It can be seen from the road and there is a parking lot with a very short walk to get a better view. This is a lovely memorial park with a beautiful waterfall, picknick tables and grills. This is a very small park, but is easily assessable from the parking lot. The lower part of the waterfall can be viewed from the parking lot, so it is ideal for those with limited mobility. The upper part of the falls is better viewed after a short, but steep climb. This waterfall is in close proximity to Grandfather mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. Consider adding this lovely park to your next trip to this area
